Technology Requirements
The School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation requires that all students studying architecture purchase a laptop computer. Specific requirements for students studying architecture are listed below for both hardware and software.
Undergraduate Advising
Welcome to MAPP’s Undergraduate Advising page! All undergraduate students must bring a completed Four-Year Plan to their mandatory advising session. This plan is crucial for the advising process, helps clarify fulfilled requirements and future plans, ensures students are on track to graduate and allows advisors to tailor sessions to individual needs.

Graduate Advising
Graduate students should meet with their program advisor at least once every semester in advance of registration to review their progress and to plan their schedule for upcoming semesters. Incoming graduate students are encouraged to work directly with their advisor as they transition into their program and select courses for their first semester.

Students can check out materials with their ID, and course readings are often reserved at Architecture or McKeldin libraries.
