Turn your ideas into physical creations through digital fabrication at the University of Maryland! ARCH151: Intro to Digital Fabrication is a hands-on course that introduces students to contemporary design technologies and computer-aided manufacturing.
- Learn to use laser cutters, 3D printers, and CNC routers in the MAPP Fabrication Labs
- Develop technical skills in CAD software, including Rhinoceros 3D
- Transform digital models into physical prototypes and objects
- Explore how digital fabrication is shaping contemporary design and production
