To Change Your Major to Architecture or REBE:

• Sign up for ARCH Change of Major
• Sign up for REBE Change of Major

Change of Major Process:

1. TerpEngage Major Change Request
2. Complete Canvas Course
3. Form Completion
4. Meet with an Advisor

For double majors or degrees, additional advising may be needed. Email archadvise@umd.edu for questions.

Architecture:

• Applications for Spring 2026 will be accepted from September 17, 2025 to December 5, 2025. 
• Approved changes effective Spring 2026.
• All paperwork and advising must be completed by December 5, 2025. Applications will reopen in February 2026 for Fall 2026.

Real Estate and the Built Environment(REBE): 

• Requests now will be processed for Spring 2026.
• Changing your major does not guarantee course seats.
