To Change Your Major to Architecture or REBE:

• Sign up for ARCH Change of Major
• Sign up for REBE Change of Major

Change of Major Process:

1. TerpEngage Major Change Request
2. Complete Canvas Course
3. Form Completion
4. Meet with an Advisor

For double majors or degrees, additional advising may be needed. Email archadvise@umd.edu for questions.

Architecture:

• Applications for the Fall 2026 change of major period for architecture students will remain open until July 31, 2026.
• The Spring 2027 change of major process will open on September 14, 2026.

Real Estate and the Built Environment(REBE): 

• Applications for the Fall 2026 change of major period for architecture students will remain open until July 31, 2026.
• The Spring 2027 change of major process will open on September 14, 2026.
• Extensions granted per course availability
