Tanya Bansal Named Director of Real Estate Development Program
Clinical Associate Professor Tanya Bansal has been named director of the University of Maryland’s Real Estate Development Program. In her new role, she will oversee the graduate, undergraduate and accelerated graduate degrees at the university’s School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation.

Eric Jenkins is a licensed architect and educator. He taught at Florida A&M, Virginia Tech, MICA, and The Catholic University of America (CUA). At CUA he attained tenured (2006) and the rank of Full Professor (2016). He has taught graduate and undergraduate design, theory, and freehand sketching.

An ACSA Distinguished Professor, Mohammad Gharipour serves as a Professor, Area Chair, and Director of the Architecture Program at the University of Maryland, USA. He obtained his PhD in architecture at Georgia Institute of Technology, USA.

Brandon has been an architect for over 40 years, practicing as a design principal, primarily with Chicago and Albuquerque based national firms, designing high schools, community colleges, university buildings and master plans, health care and laboratory facilities, and community/municipal projects.
Ralph Bennett, FAIA, LEED-AP BD&C
Ralph Bennett, FAIA, LEED-AP BD&C, is Professor Emeritus in the School of Architecture Planning and Preservation at the University of Maryland where he has taught in the design studio program at all levels, graduate and undergraduate for 48 years.
Reemberto Rodriguez
Reemberto Rodriguez is an affiliate professor at the University of Maryland's National Center for Smart Growth (NCSG), where he provides assistance and support to the Small Business Anti-Displacement Network (SBAN), the Purple Line Corridor Coalition (PLCC) and the Partnership for Learning and Sustainability (PALS). Currently he is the coordinator for SBAN’s Case Study Project.

Peter Noonan, FAIA, LEED AP is a distinguished architect and educator whose three-decade career has bridged award-winning practice and impactful teaching. As a principal at McInturff Architects—one of the Mid-Atlantic region’s most highly respected firms—Noonan has led the design and execution of over 60 projects, earning more than 90 regional and national design awards.
