In 2019, I migrated to the United States and embarked on a career in education administration. Before this transition, I had a diverse professional background, having worked as both a lawyer and in the film industry. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Law in 2010, followed by a Bachelor's degree in Communications in 2015.
Richard Etlin
Richard Etlin is an architectural historian who joined the faculty in August 1981. In 2000 he was awarded the rank of Distinguished University Professor. In 1998 Etlin became the founding director of the Restoring Ancient Stabiae project (RAS), a post that he held until he left RAS in May 2003. He retired in summer 2012.

Marie Howland

As a co-principal investigator, she contributed to a five-year grant under the U.S.

Steven Hurtt
Steven W. Hurtt is Professor and former Dean of the School of Architecture at the University of Maryland, College Park. He taught at the University of Notre Dame from 1973-1990 and was a partner in the firm of Hurtt-Kenrick Architects, P.C. Professor Hurtt enjoys teaching studio, participating on thesis committees and directing independent study courses.
William Bechhoefer
Professor Bechhoefer focuses on regionalism and multi-culturalism related to design practice. His interests include vernacular building and the effects of contemporary interventions in traditional environments.
Howell Baum
Howell Baum is an Emeritus Professor in the Urban Studies and Planning program. Baum has completed a historical study of Baltimore school desegregation entitled Brown in Baltimore: School Desegregation and the Limits of Liberalism. The book analyzes how liberalism hinders knowing and talking about race and limits possibilities of racial integration.
Gary Bowden
The School’s first appointment as Professor of the Practice was Gary Bowden, appointed by former Dean Steve Hurtt. Steve had met Gary years before when they were both young teachers, with Gary at Hampton University. Gary had a long professional career and became a partner at RTKL in Baltimore.
