Transit:

Campus Transit:

  • Bus Route: Take the 104 bus which connects the Discovery District to campus and the College Park Metro/MARC station. This bus will take you directly to the Anacostia Building.

Metro/MARC:

  • Distance: The office is located 0.4 miles from the College Park Metro Stop (Green Line) or College Park MARC station (Camden Line).
  • Directions: Exit toward the bus bays, turn right on River Road, and the driveway to the building is on the right.

Biking:

Option 1:

  • Starting Point: UMD Main College Park Campus/The Trolley Trail
  • Route: Follow Calvert Street to the College Park Metro Station. Cross the Marc tracks and follow the path under the metro tracks. Once out of the station, turn right on River Road. Follow 0.3 miles and turn right into the driveway of the Anacostia Building.

Option 2:

  • Route: Follow the Hyattsville Trolley Trail coming from the South, turn right onto Queensbury Avenue, take the first left over the railroad tracks onto Lafayette Avenue. At the traffic circle, take your first right onto Rivertech Court. Turn left into the driveway for the Anacostia Building just before River Road.

Option 3:

  • Route: From the Northeast Branch Trail, turn off the Northeast Branch of the Anacostia Trail onto Haig Drive on the edge of Riverdale Park. Make the first left on River Road, and first left on Rivertech Court. Turn right into the driveway over the Anacostia Building.

Driving:

  • Access Routes: The Anacostia Building can be accessed via Kenilworth Avenue (MD 201) or Baltimore Avenue (Route 1).
  • Google Maps: If you use Google Maps, use this link to navigate with directions. If you use an alternative mapping service, input the address: 1 Physics Ellipse Dr, College Park, MD 20740.

Parking Information:

  • Parking Lots: The parking lots at the Anacostia Building are classified as “overflow lots” for those with a university parking pass. Please consult DOTS information for details on parking for staff, student, and faculty parking permits.
  • Visitors: Visitors or those without a parking pass can pay via ParkMobile.
