When planning out your degree, please remember the following:
Welcome to MAPP’s Undergraduate Advising page! All undergraduate students must bring a completed Four-Year Plan to their mandatory advising session. This plan is crucial for the advising process, helps clarify fulfilled requirements and future plans, ensures students are on track to graduate and allows advisors to tailor sessions to individual needs. Be prepared to discuss upcoming semester courses.

Architecture Accreditation
In the United States, most registration boards require a degree from an accredited professional program as a prerequisite for licensure. The National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB), which is the sole agency authorized to accredit professional degree programs in architecture offered by institutions with U.S. regional accreditation, recognizes three types of degrees: Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Architecture, and Doctor of Architecture.
Inhabit Magazine is the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation’s annual alumni magazine, showcasing our community’s careers, achievements, research, projects and more.

Paul H. Kea, one of the first licensed architects in Maryland, and his wife Grace established the Kea Distinguished Professorship in Architecture in 1967. This professorship has played an important role in the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation by recognizing eminent practitioners and scholars. Kea Professors serve as critics and lecturers in the Architecture Program. They bring unique perspectives from practice and/or academia that enhance the academic experiences of students and faculty colleagues.
