Maeghen Goode

My Name is Maeghen Goode and I am from Detroit, Michigan. I am a Doctoral student in the URPD program. My research focuses on community vulnerability, disaster management, and recovery. I recently graduated from the University of Michigan where I received dual master's degrees, one in environment and sustainability focusing on environmental justice and the other in urban and regional planning. Before enrolling in graduate school, I completed a service term with AmeriCorps where I worked on partnering with non-profit organizations focusing on community capacity building around metro Detroit which is where my enjoyment of working with urban communities was fully realized.
