Jen Sanderson

Program Manager, School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation

Jen has dedicated 24 years to the University of Maryland, contributing her expertise across various departments. Her extensive experience and diverse background enable her to provide invaluable support to MAPP. She initially joined MAPP as the Dean's Assistant, where she developed a strong foundation in academic administration and stakeholder collaboration. 

Currently, Jen serves as the Program Manager and Academic Facilities Officer for the School. In this role, she oversees management of the Architecture Building, as well as space in Preinkert Hall and the Anacostia Building. Her responsibilities include ensuring the efficient use of facilities, coordinating maintenance, and supporting operational needs to foster a productive academic environment. 

In addition to her core duties, Jen manages special projects for the Dean, demonstrating her ability to handle complex initiatives and support strategic objectives. Her broad knowledge, organizational skills, and commitment make her a vital member of the team, consistently contributing to the smooth functioning and growth of the School.
