Alison Davitt

Chief Development Officer ; Assistant Dean for Advancement

Alison Davitt serves as Chief Development Officer and Assistant Dean for Advancement for the School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation, bringing three decades of fundraising experience, primarily in higher education. She has held leadership roles at Virginia Tech’s College of Veterinary Medicine, the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, and served as Associate Vice President at the Maryland Institute College of Art, where she led strategic fundraising campaigns and secured major and principal gifts to support academic and institutional priorities.

Alison earned her MBA from Johns Hopkins University’s Carey Business School and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Notre Dame of Maryland University. A former longtime Maryland resident, she is excited to return to College Park and advance the school’s mission as it moves fearlessly forward.
