Dr. Iana Rufino from the Federal University of Campina Grande and Dr. Adriano Paz from Federal University of Paraiba, Brazil will share their experiences with community-based approaches, spatial mapping and hydrological modeling tools for understanding water-related hazards in urban vulnerable communities.
We will meet in Room 1224 (Preinkert Hall Building) from 12 - 1 p.m. The second half is a workshop for students focusing on an introduction to "Flood Inundation Mapping with Digital Elevation Models”, delivered by Dr. Adriano Paz.
