Lecturer, Architecture

Kiley has over 10 years in the architecture and construction industries. She has worked on residential, commercial, mixed-used, and cultural projects during her career. Kiley spent 5 years working for a large general contractor as a Virtual Design and Construction Manager. During that time, she assisted field staff and project teams with site logistics/phasing and provided visualizations, animations, virtual model-building, and virtual/augmented reality deliverables to assist on jobs totaling over $3B. Recently, she has joined her husband full-time with their small architecture firm, working on residential and commercial projects that seek to make lasting and valuable changes to their communities.

A master-planner at heart, Kiley recognizes the importance of big-picture strategies that structure how the detail work will proceed. She is passionate about the multiple avenues an architecture degree can provide within the architectural and building construction industries. Her goal is to make an impact on students by assisting with mentorship, networking, and discussions on their prospective career paths.

She is a licensed architect in West Virginia, Virginia, and Ohio. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, reading, powerlifting, cooking, travel, and poetry.
