The Real Estate Review is a quarterly journal published by Thomson/Reuters. The journal’s editorial efforts were based at the Colvin Institute from 2008-2016. Dr. Margaret McFarland, the school's founding director of the Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) and the Colvin Institute of Real Estate Development, was the editor-in-chief of the Review.
During the years the Review was published at the University of Maryland, it enlarged its focus beyond the traditional discussion of highly arcane and technical finance issues to address the entire cycle of development and the myriad facets and related disciplines to real estate. Over the years there were associate, senior, and executive editors that developed contacts and articles for the Review. The Review itself is not available from UMD or Thomson Reuters online.
