Kevin Fitzgerald (MRED '16) is continuing his career in affordable housing finance and was promoted to Senior Development Risk Manager at Raymond James Affordable Housing Investments.

Chan Park (B.ARCH, '18) has been appointed as the 2024-2025 AIA State/Territory Associate Representative for Maryland to the National Associates Committee (NAC).

Stephen Parker (M.ARCH '13) received numerous awards and recognitions in the year 2024. 
            SAGE David M. Green Award - The Society for the Advancement of Gerontological Environments awards up to two individuals making an impact early in their career within the memory care marketplace.

            Northern Virginia 40 Under 40 Award - The Leadership Center for Excellence and Leadership Fairfax celebrate emerging leaders who demonstrate exceptional and impactful leadership in their professional and personal spheres within the Northern Virginia region.

            DrawnOut! Mental Health Sketch Workshop - Presented at the Design in Mental Health Network Conference in England

            2024 Royal Institute of British Architects Journal Rising Star Award - Stephen Parker, architect and mental health planner, Stantec Architecture is on a mission to create therapeutic environments that support mental wellbeing. The RIBA Journal recognizes the leading lights in the architectural professional making a significant impact worldwide as it's Rising Stars in 2024.

            CHS Kirkland Crisis Center, Behavioral Health Business Architecture and Design Award - Behavioral Health Business, the leading publication on behavioral health enterprises in the US, publishes their Architecture and Design Awards each year for impactful projects leading the industry. The CHS Kirkland Crisis Center is the first comprehensive crisis care center in Washington, providing sorely needed emergency mental health care for individuals in crisis.
 

Taylor Smrikarova (MRED '16) was featured in the article "The POWER 30 Developer : Taylor Smrikarova, Redesign Inc." by Finance & Commerce, and in "100 People to Know 2024" by Twin Cities Business Magazine.

Craig Spangler, AIA (B.ARCH ‘82) following Ballinger projects were recognized with awards from both the 2023 Philadelphia and Pennsylvania AIA Chapters.
