Graduate Assistantships

Graduate Assistants (GAs) are graduate students who work closely with faculty and undergraduates in teaching, research, or administrative roles as part of their education. These assistantships enhance their expertise, research, teaching, leadership, and administrative skills, and foster professional collaborations.

While officially titled Graduate Assistants, they are commonly referred to as Teaching Assistants (TAs), Research Assistants (RAs), or Administrative Assistants (AAs). Some also serve as resident life counselors, and students often switch between these roles during their graduate education.
