The Transportation Climate Manager will focus on meeting climate goals by reducing single-occupancy vehicle (SOV) trips and expanding transportation options. The City’s Climate Action Plan depends on meeting a goal of reducing SOV commuting to 50% and increasing the number of people biking, walking or taking transit to 30% (double today’s rates). By serving as a technical expert on multimodal transportation and climate, this role will help ensure alignment between CASR’s climate efforts, DOTI’s multimodal work, efforts of other departments, and policy across the city, region and state.
