Showroom Coordinator/ Assistant

The Showroom Coordinator/Assistant serves as a brand ambassador who plays an active role in supporting the sales design team. This position is focused on creating an exceptional experience while interacting with our clientele, potential clients, and design professionals, within the Closet America Showroom. The position is responsible for assisting customers, clients, and visitors with their needs within the Closet America building.

Responsibilities
  • Greets clients, employees, and visitors when they enter and leave the showroom/building
  • Ensure everyone is helped
  • Memorize scripted interactions and marketing techniques.
  • Gets clients to sign-in (get as much information as possible including customer name, address, contractors, etc.)
  • Maintains lead tracking system as well as contact info for showroom records
  • Ensure the accuracy of all appropriate information written on every lead and contact sheet.
  • Communicates with customers via Email, the phone and in person
  • Schedule appointments for Sales & Design consultants
  • Hands out marketing material
  • Places, follows up and receives sample orders
  • Helps to turn in order when needed
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the Showroom and Reception areas
  • Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate. Will transfer a caller to an associate’s voice mailbox when the associate is unavailable.
  • Provides assistance to other marketing job functions including, but not limited to, communication, data entry, and reporting
  • Represent the company with a professional demeanor and appropriate attire.
  • Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail. Maintains and routes publications.
  • Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities

Education and Experience: Associates’ Degree and 2+ years’ administrative, and/or marketing, sales, or customer service experience; any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

Must be competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Other Requirements: Must have a clean background check and pass a pre-employment drug test.
