Research assistant in urban design for the fall semester

Prof. Matthew Bell, FAIA is looking for a research assistant for the fall semester to work approximately 10 hours per week.  The position is hourly and no tuition or health benefits accompany the job.

The work will entail a combination of first- source research, organizing data and research and graphic analysis on cities as a part of a publication or a series of publications about urban form and change.  The preferred candidate should have completed at least three semesters of architectural design studio, ARCH 654 (preferred) and be enrolled in either the BS or MARCH architecture degree program at UMd.  If you are interested, please send by August 30 an email to: mattbell@umd.edu, with a note outlining your interests and a small portfolio of up to five pages.
