A Project Manager at Soto is self-motivated, communicative, and driven. They have a robust skillset in design, a strong sense of graphics, a high capacity for organization, and a disposition toward collaborative synergies. The role requires experience orchestrating multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating projects from design conception to construction documentation, and through construction administration.

Responsibilities for the role of a Project Manager are for full project facilitation, including:

• internal & external team coordination & meetings

• design & documentation review & coordination

• client & community presentations • technical drawings & documentation

• code reviews & permitting processes

• material research & product specifications

• workplans & staffing

• project proposals & work authorizations

Qualifications

The role of a Project Manager at Soto requires a candidate to be a Registered Architect and have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the design industry (ideally in multifamily, commercial, or institutional building typologies).

The ideal candidate would hold additional accreditations to align with their industry passions such as LEED, WELL, Passive House or other. (Please tell us about all of your complementing extracurricular activities and interests!)

Software proficiency in Revit and BlueBeam are critical at Soto. The Project Manager position also requires proficiency in MS office products and adaptability to other shared management tools used in our industry . It is preferred, but not required, to have experience in supporting design tools such as SketchUp, AutoCad, Enscape and the Adobe Creative Suite
