The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) seeks a self-motivated and high-performing Program Analyst (Data Analyst) to join the Performance Management Division (PMD). The candidate will help teams and programs work more efficiently and improve performance by using methods such as: data analysis, visualization, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) design and implementation. They will also explore new technology, present findings, and integrate new technology into existing workflows. This position will report to DDOT Performance Manager and will be working closely with teams across the agency, including but not limited to the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO).

- Explore and recommend technologies, applications, and systems to improve team efficiency, productivity, and performance
- Provide data-based recommendations, streamline workflows, develop SOPs as needed, and support other performance management tasks as requested by the Performance Manager
- Specialized Experience: Specialized experience is experience which is directly related to the position and has equipped the individual with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, at least one (1) year of specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression.
- Experience with data analytics programs such as Esri ArcGIS, Tableau, SQL, and Python (and data science libraries), and familiarity with DDOT’s technology systems
- Advanced degrees in a quantitative discipline, such as computer science, data science, statistics, and mathematics preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write briefing memos and reports, deliver presentations, and facilitate effective meetings preferred
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
