VOCATIONAL/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Planner II) Requires a Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience in planning or a closely related field. (Planner III) Requires Liberal Arts Master’s degree in planning or closely related field. Bachelor’s degree with three years progressively responsible experience may be considered in lieu of a Master’s degree.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: (Planner II) In addition to satisfying the vocational/education standards, this class requires a minimum of two years of full-time equivalent experience. (Planner III) In addition to satisfying the vocational/education standards, this class requires a minimum of three years of full-time equivalent experience.
