The Community & Economic Development Department is taking applications for a Planner I or Planner II.
The Planner I will perform professional and technical work in the Community Development Department. Supports Planning Director and other staff in department activities. Performs a variety of routine and complex technical and professional work in current and long-range planning of the county, and review of building and onsite wastewater treatment system applications.
The Planner II will perform professional and technical work in the Community Development Department. Will independently plan and implement current planning projects and manage complex development applications. Supports Assistant County Manager for Community and Economic Development, Planning Director, and other staff in department activities. Performs a variety of routine and complex technical and professional work in current and long-range planning of the county, and review of building and onsite wastewater treatment systems, and the development and implementation of land use and related policies and regulations.
