Jacobs planning practice promotes a collaborative, interactive and multidisciplinary delivery of services approach that engages professionals representing multiple service lines, including Facility Strategies, Urban Design and Planning, Asset Management, Energy Services, Business and Finance and Visual Media. Our planning team includes facility programmers, architects, interior designers, engineers, business analysts, workplace strategists, planners, landscape architects, graphic designers, and other related disciplines.

Responsibilities

This role will focus on leading and supporting facility strategists by:

  • Collecting and analyzing data to support project preparation, analysis, and assimilation for federal clients.
  • Supporting project planning, planning, design deliverables and graphical production.
  • Interacting with the project team and client to communicate the results of analyses.
  • Developing narrative and graphic documentation and exhibits reports, planning documentation, and presentation.
  • Taking a support role in workshop facilitation and team charrettes.

Remote work will be considered.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, or related field, is required.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project); Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze complex problems and abstract information while also developing client driven strategies supported by high-quality written and graphic deliverables required.
  • Emphasis placed on analyzing problems, completing tasking, and developing best practices associated with project deliverables with moderate oversight.
  • Ability to work in a virtual hybrid environment, with some time in-person at client locations, Jacobs offices, and other collaborative activities.
  • United States Citizenship.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Experience in planning, architecture, architectural consulting, interiors, landscape architecture or related field.
  • Planning experience for Federal Agencies and or Department of Defense.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and/or ESRI GIS is desirable.
