JUNIOR TO MID-LEVEL ARCHITECT

Architectural Support Group, LLC t/a ASG is looking for a junior to mid-level designer or architectural licensure candidate, preferably with either a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related degree with relevant experience.

Applicants must possess three or more years of experience and technical knowledge of residential, multifamily, and general construction. We are a growing practice specializing in projects from designing and developing custom residential and commercial projects through a wide range of exterior envelope consulting and project management and construction oversight. Current projects involve developing single-family residential additions, community center and pool-house additions, restaurants, and religious facilities. We frequently assist our clients with solving challenging problems related to water intrusion and construction defects.

Being a small practice, this individual will work closely with all team members and participate in all aspects of our projects. Since our practice analyzes existing buildings and issues on a micro scale for many projects, it helps inform our design decisions on a macro scale. Our goal is always to continue learning from issues identified during our consulting projects and implement that knowledge to strengthen our design projects. We will help train you to become as well-rounded an architect as possible.

Analytical, troubleshooting, and understanding of waterproofing systems are optional but desired. Applicants must be personable and communicate well with clients. Must know how to use CAD programs and the Microsoft office suite. ArchiCAD, Revit, or other 3D drafting programs and experience with the Adobe Suite of products are also strong benefits for consideration. Candidates working toward architectural licensure are preferred.

We strongly believe in the architectural licensure process and encourage all eligible staff to obtain licensure. This individual will work closely with the principal and team on all our projects, ensuring well-rounded career development, including assistance with exam preparation materials and cost reimbursement.

Salary Information: Commensurate with experience. The position includes compensation for health and dental insurance, profit sharing, 401K, PTO, and Vacation Time. Please provide salary requirements.
