Heritage Consulting Group is seeking a Junior Associate to assist with historic tax credit projects and National Register nominations.
Responsibilities Include:
· Assist with historic resource assessments, including: site inspections, research, photography, historic building evaluation, and building documentation.
· Assist with the preparation of state and federal Historic Tax Credit Certification Applications.
· Assist with the preparation of National Register Nominations and landmark designation reports.
A MA/MS in historic preservation, architectural history, planning or closely related discipline is preferred.
Required Skills:
· Professional with the ability to multi-task, work independently and work with a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
· Read and understand architectural plans.
· Research and scholarly/technical writing.
· Photographic abilities.
· Knowledge of the application of the Secretary of the Interiors Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
· Proficiency in the following computer programs; Microsoft office suite, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign.
