Gronning Architects (Washington DC, gronningarchitects.com), a small and well respected, design oriented Architectural firm, is seeking a talented, enthusiastic junior architect with at least of 0 - 4 years of experience. You will be working directly with the principal in a fast-paced architectural environment.
The project types range from residential, multi-family, restaurants, retail, offices and wineries.
Must be proficient with Revit and other relevant programs, design oriented, self-motivated, eager to learn and have an outstanding work ethic. The candidate will learn to manage small jobs, interact with clients and develop a professional understanding of the design process. Gronning Architects also has a fabrication facility which specializes in small scale installations and furniture fabrication (furnitureandobjects.com). Exposure to fabrication processes will be offered as well as the possibility of
part time work in the fabrication studio.
