PBDW Architects, a design-oriented, award-winning mid-sized firm in New York City, seeks a full-time Junior Architect to join our team. Our practice spans a wide range of project types including educational, cultural, commercial, and residential and is equally distributed between new construction and design in historic contexts. Assist in conducting initial project research, site visits, and/or minor surveying
Complete design drawings from SD through CA utilizing REVIT software under the direction of the Project Architect and Project Manager
Communicate and coordinate with consultants and contractors
Prepare design presentation drawings or 3D models
Research building materials
Assist PM or PA in project management and construction administration tasks
Interact with clients, consultants, and all team members to meet project demands and deadlines
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture
2-5 years of professional experience in US Architecture firms
Proficiency in Revit & AutoCAD preferred
Experience in design and construction document preparation and field observation
Ability to work as part of team as well as independently in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment
English language proficiency required, both spoken and written
Legal US work status required
