Founded in 2006, Code Studio works on codes and plans that yield vibrant, mixed use, walkable communities through creative urban infill and redevelopment strategies. Based in Austin, TX, we are a consulting firm with projects in communities across the US.
Position:
Code Studio is looking for a part-time, paid intern to assist with SketchUp modeling and graphic production. Work would involve help modeling design scenarios and building types in support of our urban design-focused and form-based code projects. A background in architecture with strong SketchUp and Adobe Illustrator skills are essential. Experience in urban design or urban planning is preferred but not necessary. Interns should be based in the DC region but will have a flexible schedule with the ability to work remotely. Availability for at least 10-15 hours per week during regular business hours (9am-6pm CT, Monday-Friday) is preferred, with the ability to join our DC-based urban designer in DC as needed.
