Job Description Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified, experienced professional to serve as a member of the Portfolio Performance team. The Portfolio Performance team in Asset Management is responsible for leading asset management’s engagement with our investors, communicating with them about their portfolio and providing all portfolio and property reports to them. We also are responsible for analyzing the Housing Credit portfolio and coordinating the project performance and risk rating process. Our Asset Management team has developed a successful track record and reputation for high quality reporting, investor communication, portfolio management and trends analysis among investors and in the industry. To maintain these high standards, we seek a team member to accommodate the expanding investor relationships, particularly the growth in proprietary investments and associated reporting requirements

Responsibilities

 

  • Manage key investor relationships by serving as their asset management customer relationship manager. Coordinate investor meetings, facilitate consent requests and handle inquiries from assigned investors.
  • Support and expand our systems for documenting fund and investor requirements. 
  • Support annual investor due diligence reporting efforts.
  • Assist with quarterly investor reporting and assist with efforts to improve workflow for teams within Asset Management that are involved in quarterly and annual investor reporting.
  • Assist with special notices and investor portal announcements.
  • Advance efforts to improve data quality issues that impact reporting and portfolio performance.
  • Interface regularly with Vice President, Portfolio Performance regarding investor interactions and concerns, as well as key updates on reporting, due diligence and other areas of responsibility.
  • Interface regularly with key internal teams such as Investor Relations, Legal and Fund Investment Reporting and Management.
  • Provide input to Investor Relations on Fund Partnership Agreements.
Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required, preferably in Business, Real Estate, Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related discipline. Master’s degree a plus.
  • 5-7 years related experience required; experience in Housing Credit and asset management required; investor relations, real estate and/or property management experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with fund agreement, lower tier partnership agreements, contracts and other legal documents is required.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to prioritize conflicting demands and meet deadlines.
  • Strong Excel skills, proficient knowledge of MS Word and Power Point. Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Must be highly service oriented, self-motivated, able to work independently, solve problems and possess strong written and oral communication skills.
