Architectural Intern/Designer

Part-time architectural intern with a degree in or on the path to a degree in Architecture,  Engineering, or Construction fields. Candidate will be able to participate in all aspects of  architectural design.  

Responsibilities included but not limited to: 

• Gather field measurements and review local code requirements for renovation and new  construction projects. 

• Research building codes and standards 

• Develop 3D conceptual designs 

• Research the different types of building materials, lighting fixtures and other products • Participate in client meetings to coordinate design options and ideas. 

• Assist with design and construction document drawings suitable for permits and  construction (with direct supervision of Principal Architect.) 

Qualifications/Skills: 

• Proficient in Autodesk Revit 

• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills 

• Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment 

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.) 

Education/Experience: 

• Associate or Bachelor of (or in pursuit of) Architecture, Engineering, or other Construction related degree. 

• Autodesk Revit experience 

• Prior work experience encouraged but not required.
