Architectural Designer

We are seeking highly motivated, detail-oriented, and well-rounded professionals to work on all phases of design for a variety of project types, including education, retails/entertainment, stadium, science and technology, healthcare, mixed-use, and government projects.

We are looking for candidates at various levels of experience, including architectural designers, architects, project architects, architectural project managers, and senior project architects. The ideal candidate will have a Master of Architecture or a professional degree in Architecture, as well as NCARB certification and LEED AP (preferred for Architects, Project Architects, and Project Managers). Architectural designers should be in the process of registering for the Architectural Registration Examination (ARE).

In this role, you will manage and lead multiple projects, establish and execute project work plans, monitor project design and production, and lead construction administration activities. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and provide oversight to junior staff and develop trusted relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

 

Manage and lead multiple projects

· Establish and execute project work plans

· Monitor project design and production

· Meet with owners and user groups to determine program and planning requirements

· Lead A/E team to prepare, coordinate, and complete construction documents packages

· Lead day-to-day construction administration activities

· Mentor and provide oversight to junior staff

· Communicate effectively with all project participants, including clients, contractors, and consultants

· Develop trusted relationships with clients

Qualifications

 

Master’s degree in architecture or professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design

· Minimum 3+ to 20 years of progressive professional experience in medium to large-scale projects

· Architectural Registration with NCARB Certification (required) or Interior Design Certification with NCIDQ and LEED AP (preferred)

· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

· Thorough knowledge of the entire project delivery process

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite

· Willingness to negotiate project scope, fees, job production and quality, fee management and collection, and monitor project accounts
