Urban Spa

This project required students to design a building in section, as the infill site is constrained on both sides by part walls. The building design addressed issues of space planning, spatial overlap, tiered programming, communicating spaces, funneling daylight, and the use of poche to create climate control and privacy.

Principles of procession and space making, functional organization, climate design, structural systems, as well as room and façade design, are explored in an urban context.
