4+1 Program in Real Estate

Combined Bachelor's / Masters Program in Real Estate and the Built Environment and the Master of Real Estate Development

The School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation now offers a combined undergraduate and graduate program in a 4+1 format by allowing students in the undergraduate Real Estate in Built Environment (REBE) major to take up to 3 courses during their senior year to accelerate and enhance a year that would follow as an Master in Real Estate Development (MRED) graduate student. For students without an undergraduate degree in real estate or a closely related field, the MRED degree typically takes 18-24 months to complete, depending on whether students take summer and winter term courses. The combined program will allow students enrolled in the REBE major to undertake the MRED in 12 months with taking summer and winter courses.
