Goldcrest Project

The Goldcrest project is a mixed-use development utilizing both ground-up construction and historic adaptive reuse in the downtown market of Memphis, Tennessee. The development site consists of two addresses, 495 Tennessee Street and 11 East Butler Avenue. Built in 1885, the 65,720 SF historic Tennessee Brewery, once the largest brewery in the southern United States, occupies 24,800 square feet of the parcel. The brewery is situated directly on the bluffs overlooking  the  Mississippi  River. 11 East

Butler Avenue is located across from 495 Tennessee Street and consists of 71,264 square feet of vacant land. The adaptive-reuse of the brewery will provide 125 boutique hotel rooms, an attached brewpub, a modern fitness studio, a renovation of the 5,300 SF courtyard for event space with access to a rooftop terrace overlooking the river. The vacant land located across from the brewery will receive 96 market-rate apartment units, 14,400 SF of retail space, a 15,000 SF specialty grocer and 240 parking spaces.
