The Haven at Kaywood

Kingdom Building Architectural Design & Development is proposing The Haven, a $28,604,791 youth center and residential apartments project located in Mount Rainier, Maryland. The Haven will offer an energy efficient youth center with three levels of apartments above along with a newly renovated Kaywood Theatre. The project will consist of a 26,000-sf youth center that will provide hundreds of DC, Maryland, and Virginia youth ages 11 to 24 with services, and programs to build and express their creativity. The apartment component will consist of 42,000 sf. The intention of The Haven is creating a space for youth and young at heart to be active and safe. Also, an opportunity for youth to be out in the public.
