Architecture High School Summer Program

 

Considering a career in architecture? High school students can join the University of Maryland's ARCH150: Discovering Architecture, a three-week summer course introducing the built environment. This hands-on course helps you explore careers in architecture, landscape architecture, and urban design planning. You'll meet successful architects, tour landmarks, and complete a design project. Experience being an architecture student by working on design projects in a studio environment and interacting with graduate students. Learn from top faculty and design professionals and prepare for design school admission. Visit Terp Young Scholars (TYS) at the Office of Extended Studies to apply. The program lets you test career interests, earn three college credits, commute or live on campus, and use the university's top resources.
