Construction Project Management Minor

A minor in Construction Project Management will prepare students for management careers related to the built environment, such as project management, architectural engineering, design and construction in both the private and public sectors. The Construction Project Management minor will expose students to a basic understanding of daily construction operations at the project and corporate levels and give students a competitive advantage when applying for these jobs.

Students will learn how to manage all phases of operation and management in the construction process including building information modeling, cost estimating, project scheduling, construction financing and planning. In addition, students will study design and contact law, safety requirements and the types of materials and methods used in construction.
