Career Services for Students

The University of Maryland and the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation offer comprehensive career and placement services for its students. Students are welcome to utilize all the career services offered by the University Career Services, as well as career services tailored to the opportunities in the Built Environment.  

The University of Maryland switched from the Career4Terps online career management platform to HandshakeStudents, employers and alumni have access to this platform online or through the app. Visit UMD's Career Center Handshake webpage for details.

The Architecture, Planning, Preservation and Real Estate Development Career & Internship Fair will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 1 - 5 p.m. at the Riggs Alumni Center in College Park, Maryland.
