Op-Ed: Is coronavirus hiding in your sewage system?

In a recent Baltimore Sun Op-Ed, Dr. Marccus Hendricks discusses the risks associated with failing wastewater infrastructure and COVID-19 transmission. The commentary is based on Dr. Hendricks' ongoing research for an early-career fellowship with the JPB Environmental Health Fellows Program at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health.  Marccus D. Hendricks is an assistant professor of urban studies and planning at the University of Maryland and a Faculty Research Affiliate with the Clark School of Engineering's Center for Disaster Resilience, the National Center for Smart Growth Research and Education, and the Environmental Finance Center.
