Lecture by Matt Bucchin, Director of Planning, Halff Associates 


BIOGRAPHY

Matt Bucchin, AICP, LEED Green Associate has over 25 years of public and private sector experience at the different levels of government. Over the last 11 years, Mr. Bucchin has worked as a planning consultant and project manager on comprehensive, park, trail, corridor, active transportation, and downtown master planning processes and zoning and land development code projects. He has developed an extensive skillset in public facilitation, visioning, and consensus building, which has led to highly implementable outcomes. Matt has been collaborating with the American Planning Association for over a decade to help to advance sustainability and resilience as a core component of land use planning and the built environment. He is co-author of Planning for Climate Mitigation and Adaptation, a PAS Report recently published by APA, and was one of the authors of APA’s Climate Change Policy Guide.
