The Purple Line Corridor Coalition, in partnership with Kaiser Permanente and the Coalition for Smarter Growth, invites you to a virtual event called Connecting the Corridor: A Century of Racism and Resilience Along the Purple Line

"Connecting the Corridor" will feature presentations by community storytellers from Lakeland, Langley Park, Lyttonsville, and Bethesda, who will describe the personal and enduring consequences of the region's often inequitable development, with lessons for how our community can make sure that the new  Purple Line light rail project is a force for racial equity and not an instrument of displacement. The event will be facilitated by planner and writer Dan Reed, with keynote remarks from the Honorable Parris Glendening, former Governor of Maryland.

The event will be translated to Spanish.
