• Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning.
• Be an engaged member of the design team for project concept and delivery
• Assist with project schedules, field measurements and site visits.
• Aid in the preparation of presentation materials, producing digital and physical models, and
production of construction documents
• Work closely with senior-level project manager and Registered Architect to gain project
management and architecture experience.
• Support project team on multiple, complex projects through all phases from proposal through
construction.
• Works under the supervision of a Registered Architect.
• The expanded role in the office would include management of certain admin tasks as follows:
o Lunch & learns
o Other admin support tasks
Requirements:
+Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in Architecture program or equivalent degree (and experience) that can
be applied to becoming a Registered Architect.
+ Working towards bachelor’s or related field and in their third or fourth year of a bachelor’s program or
in a master’s program.
+Architectural Intern designation required and ability to become a Registered Architect
Preferred:
+ Professional experience is beneficial but not required – creative curiosity is required.
+ Exhibits design and technological sophistication, and is self-starting, energetic, and creative
+ Excellent model-making, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign skills
+ Strong graphic and design talent
+ Fluent in written and spoken English
+ Valid work permit (USA)
