We are looking for an intern who is self-motivated and comfortable working in a flexible working environment. The intern will be exposed to a variety of projects at different stages, and may assist with project research, analysis, and outreach. There may be opportunities to attend client meetings and accompany staff on neighborhood visits and events. Applicants should be based in the DC area and able to commit at least 8 hours a week at our office in the WeWork at Farragut North. Days of the week are flexible, as we are happy to create a schedule that works around any additional obligations during the work week.

- Passion for cities and urban neighborhoods.
- Pursuing or completed a degree in a field related to urban planning, policy, economics, or real estate.
- Strong quantitative analysis skills.
- Comfort working with large data sets and a familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Ability to conduct independent research and meet deadlines in a goal-oriented environment.
