The Dean's Legacy Series, created by Dean Garth Rockcastle, documents and celebrates the contributions of retiring faculty to scholarship and learning at the University of Maryland School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation.
Volume one is a collection of critical essays and reflections on regionalism in architecture, in recognition of Professor Emeritus William Bechhoefer's contributions to the field. Included are seven essays by Becchoefer and nine essays contributed by his colleagues, students and friends.
