William Gary Hubbard
Bill Hubbard is the Assistant Director and State Program Leader for environmental, natural resources, and Sea Grant programs with the University of Maryland Extension. In this capacity, he has statewide administrative and programmatic leadership responsibilities for programs in areas such as watershed, water quality, climate, energy, forestry, aquaculture, wildlife, and home horticulture (including the Master Gardener, Master Naturalist, Home, and Garden Information Center and Bay-Wise MG programs). He has held this position since January 2019. Before that he coordinated a south-wide regional Extension forestry consortium as a faculty member at the University of Georgia. He also held a state Extension Forestry position at the University of Florida for 5 years and taught forest economics and management and urban forestry.
