The University of Maryland School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation (MAPP + D) is hosting its first annual research symposium!

MAPP OF THE FUTURE: A Research and Creative Practice Symposium will highlight the contributions of our faculty, students, and alumni in celebration of the School’s 50th anniversary. Papers and posters will address various topics related to design, planning, development and conservation of the built environment, at the intersection of culture and nature.

Our faculty will be joined by research colleagues from schools and departments around campus, including American Studies, the Academy for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Robert H. Smith School of Business, the START program in Terrorism Studies and the School of Public Health.
