The University of Maryland Architecture majors offer a comprehensive, well-rounded foundation for students interested in architecture and other design professions. We enable students to discover their academic and career passions through broad-based curricula that nurture life both in and out of the classroom, offering the flexibility for our students to explore interests that define the college experience. Our students engage in an active extra-curricular roster–including athletics, study abroad and clubs—while exploring academic minors of interest to them. Architecture students can also pair their degree with the many design-related minors offered at the school, including Construction Project Management, Real Estate Development and Sustainability Studies.
