Giving Day 2018 begins just at 12:00 midnight!
The March 7th 24-hour giving challenge supports student scholarships, academic programs and campus initiatives. Alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends of the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (MAPP) are encouraged to support students and programming towards aimed at creating a quality built environment.
GET MATCHED! We have a generous challenge this year thanks to alum Craig S. Spangler, B.ARCH ’82, who has graciously agreed to match all gifts to MAPP, dollar for dollar, up to a total of $5,000. Craig’s match means that you have the opportunity to double your gift on Giving Day.
The minimum donation is $10. Every gift matters: https://go.umd.edu/gdmapp. The page goes live at midnight and you’ll have the option of selecting one of three highlighted funds or selecting “Other” and writing in a specific fund you’d like to support.
- Your gift will allow us to compete for University matching funds during a challenge taking place between 9-10 AM. If we are able to get more gifts than other small units on campus, we’ll win an additional $2,000 for MAPP!
- Each time you support a fund, it counts as one gift. So, if you want to make a $100 gift, you can designate $25 to each of four different funds, and that counts as four gifts for the school!
