February’s issue of The New Yorker magazine examines the extraordinary efforts of Associate Clinical Professor of Historic Preservation Brent Leggs and his colleagues to preserve African-American history in America through the African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund. Part of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Action Fund, where Leggs serves as director, is the largest ever campaign to preserve African-American sites.
