Planetizen Ranks MAPP's Urban Studies and Planning Program Among Best in U.S.

Planetizen, a nationally recognized website covering urban planning, design and development issues, has ranked University of Maryland’s Urban Studies and Planning Program (URSP) as one of the top 25 programs in the United States. The ranking was part of Planetizen’s Guide to Graduate Urban Planning Programs, 6th edition (“the Guide”), released this month. URSP was ranked 21st in the nation and 10th among both small programs (fewer than 55 students) and programs in the Northeast.

Compiled by Planetizen staff, the Planetizen Guide to Graduate Urban Planning Programs is the only comprehensive ranking of urban planning programs in the United States and is used by thousands of students each year.
